Dundee Women’s Festival 2012


It is the time of year again for the Dundee Women’s Festival. If you are interested in finding out more about the wide range of activities available during the festival across Dundee then please see the programme available on the DVA website.

As part of the Dundee Women’s Festival they are collecting toiletries “for women and their children who may find themselves in a homeless situation”. If you would like to donate any, you can drop in to our shop during thursday the 29th March, 5th April and 12th April and we will deliver them to the DVA. Come in between 11am and 3pm with toiletries, thanks!

Our Craft Day
At 209 Hilltown, Dundee, DD3 7AG, we are hosting a Craft Day on 10th March 2012, 10am to 4pm. Bring a project you are currently working on and work together, chatting about the craft skills you have gained and what you pass on to others. At 12 noon, Ricefield the Chinese Arts and Cultural Centre are providing a demonstration of Paper Cutting. See their website to find out more about Ricefield at ricefield.org.uk.

There is a Women in Scotland 2012 conference in Edinburgh on thursday 8th March and there is also a Women and their Benefits talk at Centre Library, Dundee, on 13th March. See the following appropriate PDF link for further information.
